DAY 1: DEPART

Departing home you head west, flying over the Pacific Ocean enjoying 2 meals, 3 movies and a nap.

DAY 3: SYDNEY

It is true that you lose day 2 to the International Dateline heading to Australia/NZ but you pick it up again on the way home arriving back before you leave! Landing in Sydney early in the morning means you are just in time for a morning orientation tour with your Aussie Tour Manager. You will wind your way around Sydney Harbour (Aussies still use the ‘u’) with a first stop at Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair to have a picture opportunity with the glorious Sydney Opera House and majestic Sydney Harbour bridge just behind you. Traveling through the ritzy Eastern suburbs you will arrive at the famed Bondi Beach for a chance to get some sea air and some tucker (Aussie for food). After lunch, we will head back into the city and from there to our hotel for check in, a chance to freshen up and the first of your Australian dinners. Overnight Sydney

DAY 4: SYDNEY

After your breakfast, (hot and cold buffets daily), you will head down to the Rocks area. Australia’s first people, the Aboriginals, have a proud 50,000 year history which was disrupted in 1788 when Captain Phillips commanded the first colonial fleet into what is now Sydney. The fleet of 11 ships commanded by the English were full of prisoners and your tour of the Rocks brings this early harsh history of convict settlement to life. After time for lunch and a walk alongside the Botanic Gardens you arrive for your guided tour of the Sydney Opera House. The House (as it is known) is a jewel in the crown of cultural life in the Southern Hemisphere and this architectural masterpiece continues to dazzle everyone who has the chance to tour it. This afternoon we will have time to prepare for our first CONCERT in Australia. Overnight Sydney

DAY 5: SYDNEY | MANLY

You can start your day by walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, marveling at the vast and sparkling harbour below you, before sailing to Manly on Sydney Harbour past the Opera House and towards the heads that protect this bay boasting some 150 miles of shoreline. There are picture opportunities on all sides, the Prime Minister and Governor General’s Sydney residences, spectacular beaches, homes of the rich and famous as well as untouched bushland. All this unfolds before you disembark at Manly where you can walk from the Harbour to the Pacific Ocean in 5 minutes to watch countless surfers try their luck on their next wave. A fish and chips dinner on the waterfront might be a perfect ending to a harbourside day. Overnight Sydney

DAY 6: SYDNEY

Today you have the chance to come up close and personal with Aussie animals at a wildlife park seeing koalas and kangaroos and many more animals that are unique to the world’s largest island continent. An exchange program with an Australian ensemble would be an option for this afternoon providing a chance to meet some new Aussie mates. Share a CONCERT with the locals if you wish. Overnight Sydney
