Australia Choral Festival with Pearl Shangkuan & Dan Forrest

Australia Choral Festival

WITH PEARL SHANGKUAN & DAN FORREST

Tour Dates: July 2027

Artistic Vision: We Are the Music

Led by Pearl Shangkuan and Dan Forrest, this choral experience celebrates the joy of collective music-making and the beauty that surrounds and connects us all. Rooted in themes of unity, wonder, and shared expression, the festival invites ensembles to embrace the emotional depth and spiritual richness of their music, creating an environment where every voice contributes to something greater—a living harmony of people and place.

Why Australia?

From the sails of the Opera House to the peaceful calls of native wildlife at Taronga Zoo, Sydney is where culture and nature meet in perfect balance. Between unforgettable performances and coastal adventures, your ensemble will experience the joy of singing in one of the world’s most iconic cities—surrounded by beauty, inside and out.

I am delighted to invite you to our 2027 choral festival in Sydney, Australia!

Vibrant cultural heritage, stunning natural landscapes and wildlife, as well as  iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House make the “Land Down Under” an endlessly inspiring festival destination!

This festival is designed for high school through adult choristers. There will be opportunities for your choir to perform individual concerts in addition to joining the festival choir for the Gala Concert at the Sydney Opera House (subject to availability) or the renowned Sydney Town Hall.

The festival offers several optional extensions to other cities around Australia, so your choir can experience the Great Barrier Reef, explore a wildlife sanctuary near Brisbane, visit Australia’s Parliament House in Canberra, and much more!

I hope you’ll consider this opportunity for your choir that will be a wonderful lifelong memory for all participants!

Best regards,
Pearl Shangkuan
