DAY 1: Depart the United States, arrive in Havana, and take an orientation tour of the city before checking-in to your hotel.
DAY 2: Discover Havana’s history with a guided tour of the city through Old Havana, Revolution Square, and the Museo de la Revolución. In the afternoon, meet and perform an exchange concert with a local ensemble.
DAY 3: Visit Havana’s city squares, including the Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Francisco de Asis, and, Plaza Vieja. Discover the luxurious, residential area of Miramar, and drive along the famous Malecon.
DAY 4: Leave Havana and travel a resort-style hotel on the beautiful Varadero Beach in Cuba’s north shore.
DAY 5: Take a day trip to Mantanzas, known for its Afro-Cuban culture. Participate in a workshop with a local expert, meet and perform an exchange concert with a local ensemble, and return to Varadero Beach for the night.
DAY 6: Leave Varadero beach, snorkel in the bay of Pigs, visit Morro Castle, explore Trinidad, and return to Havana in the evening.
DAY 7: Explore Havana with your ensemble and experience the city’s delightful shops, delicious restaurants, and colorful culture. End the day, and the trip, with a concert performance in one of Havana’s incredible venues.
DAY 8: Transfer to the airport and begin your journey home.
