Itinerary
DAY 1: Depart from your home airport to Beijing.
DAY 2: Arrive in Beijing and take an orientation tour of the city before checking-in to your hotel.
DAY 3: Tour the Forbidden City, visit Tiananmen Square, meet a local ensemble, and perform a concert in Beijing.
DAY 4: Travel to the 3,465-mile-long Great Wall and perform a short concert at the base of the wall. In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace, a World Heritage site, and dine in a Peking Duck restaurant for dinner.
DAY 5: Take a high-speed train to the imperial city of Xi’an, and explore key sites in the city including the ancient old city gate and Wild Goose Pagoda. Check-in to your hotel and see one of Xi’an’s famous Tang Dynasty Shows.
DAY 6: Discover an active archeological dig site, see the impressive terracotta soldiers, and perform a concert in one of Xi’an’s incredible venues.
DAY 7: Fly to Shanghai and take a cruise on the Huangpu River to see modern Shanghai (Pudong) on one side, and historic Shanghai on the other, before exploring Nanjing Road.
DAY 8: Explore Shanghai’s Yu Garden and perform a final concert in Shanghai.
DAY 9: Head to the airport to begin your journey home.
