Itinerary
DAY 1: Depart home and fly to Helsinki.
DAY 2: Arrive in Helsinki, take an orientation tour of the city, and check-in to your hotel.
DAY 3: Visit the historic city center, and tour the Presidential Palace, City Hall, Finlandia Hall, and the Kiasma Museum. Meet a local ensemble and perform a concert in the famous Temppeliaukio Church.
DAY 4: Explore Helsinki and take a ferry ride to Tallinn.
DAY 5: Take a guided tour of Tallinn’s Old Town, one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval cities, and meet and perform an exchange concert with a local ensemble.
DAY 6: Tour Rocca al Mare, Estonia’s open-air museum depicting life in the 18th-20th centuries, and board an overnight ferry to Stockholm.
DAY 7: Learn about Stockholm’s architecture, clean water, and city parks on a guided tour of the city and visit Ostermalms Saluhall food market to sample traditional Swedish delicacies.
DAY 8: Discover Sweden’s natural beauty in the island Djurgarden, tour the Vasa Museum, and meet and perform an exchange concert with a local ensemble.
DAY 9: Transfer to the airport and begin your journey home.
